This exceptional wine is made from Kakhet grapes, grown in the fertile vineyards around Dvin, an area known for its perfect conditions for viticulture. These ideal growing conditions result in wines with a distinct character and depth. Voskevaz Katarine undergoes a meticulous traditional aging process that significantly enhances the wine's quality and character. After harvest and fermentation, the wine is aged for 12 months in carefully selected Armenian oak barrels. These barrels are essential for the wine's development, as they impart delicate yet distinctive wood tones. With an alcohol content of 16%, Voskevaz Katarine offers a full and rich taste experience, while its 16% sugar content provides a delightful sweetness that is perfectly balanced with the other flavor components. In short, Voskevaz Katarine is a masterpiece that reflects the rich traditions and craftsmanship of Armenian winemaking.

Voskevaz, a prestigious winery located in the enchanting Aragatsotn at the foot of the impressive Aragats Mountain in Armenia, is known for producing extraordinary wines that reflect the rich history and unique terroir of the region. The vineyards are situated in a special location called "Golden Forest" – which is what Voskevaz means – where grapes have been cultivated for centuries. Excavations in this area have even uncovered fragments of ancient clay amphorae, known as karases, near the ruins of a 7th-century church next to the winery. In 2004, a new chapter began for Voskevaz when David Hovhannisyan, a driven Armenian entrepreneur, decided to return to his hometown after living abroad for years. Together with his brothers Gago and Armen, he made a significant investment in Voskevaz with the goal of restoring the winery’s former glory. At Voskevaz, a harmonious combination of traditional winemaking methods and modern techniques is used to create wines of exceptional quality. Dedicated winemakers carefully select the best grapes from the surrounding vineyards and process them in our modern facilities. The result is an extraordinary range of wines that bring to life the unique characteristics of the Aragatsotn region.
