Kilikia Lager Beer
Kilikia Lager presents itself with a beautiful golden blonde color, typical of the classic lager style. With a bitterness of 23 IBU and an original gravity of 12.5% OG, this beer offers a refined and balanced flavor profile. The taste is fresh and lightly malty, enriched with subtle hop notes and a mild bitterness — perfectly balanced and especially popular among traditional lager enthusiasts. The mouthfeel is refreshing and smooth, making Kilikia a pleasantly thirst-quenching beer. Thanks to its approachable character, Kilikia Lager is exceptionally well-suited for a variety of food pairings. The beer pairs particularly well with grilled chicken or turkey, seafood such as shrimp and mussels, and mild cheeses like young Gouda or mozzarella. It also complements fresh salads with citrus dressing or savory snacks like nachos and chips, adding a flavorful touch. For the optimal taste experience, it is recommended to serve the beer at a temperature of 4 to 6°C. This way, the fresh notes and subtle hop bitterness come through most beautifully.
The Yerevan Brewery was established in 1952 and has since become an important part of Armenian beer culture. In 1997, the company gained the status of a CJSC (Closed Joint-Stock Company) and launched the "Kilikia" brand. This milestone marked the beginning of a period of rapid growth, both in production volume and company size. After privatization, significant investments were made to modernize the production process. With substantial financial resources and the introduction of advanced technologies, the quality of production was elevated to an international level. Today, "Beer of Yerevan" CJSC produces beer that fully meets the highest international standards. With more than 70 years of experience, the company has secured a solid position among Armenia’s leading enterprises. Over the years, the Kilikia brand has grown into a synonym for quality and craftsmanship. The brewery’s product range is now broad and diverse: it produces 12 types of beer, 10 types of natural juices and nectars, and 13 types of soft drinks. Additionally, the company bottles mineral water under the names "Luzinyan" and "Aquavita." Thanks to this versatility and constant quality control, "Beer of Yerevan" products are exported to more than 18 countries worldwide.
