Trinity JAZZ Areni Chardonnay 2018
When pouring the Trinity JAZZ Areni Chardonnay, the enchanting golden glow immediately catches the eye, adorning the glass and captivating the senses. A visual spectacle that invites enjoyment even before the first sip is taken. The nose is embraced by gentle notes, behind which the intoxicating aromas of wild red berries slowly reveal themselves. These subtle and refined scents invite a deep exploration of the treasures this wine holds. With the first sip, the wine unveils its masterful balance and complexity. The characteristic acidity of the Areni Noir grape dances elegantly on the palate, resulting in a lively and refreshing sensation. At the same time, the fruity notes of green apples and ripe yellow fruit from the Chardonnay grape envelop the mouth, adding a delightful sweetness to the palette. This wine unfolds as a versatile companion, perfect as an aperitif, inviting guests to explore its subtleties. It is also an excellent companion for delicate fish and seafood, where the flavors harmoniously blend to create an unforgettable culinary experience. For the optimal appreciation of the Trinity JAZZ Areni Chardonnay, it is recommended to serve it at the ideal temperature, carefully adjusted to around 10-12°C. This creates the perfect environment to fully reveal the diverse layers of flavor and elevate the experience to new heights.
In 2009, the story of Trinity Canyon Vineyards began from the shared passion and determination of three wine enthusiasts who embarked on the challenging journey into the fascinating world of winemaking. With the dedicated support of an equally driven group of viticulturists and artisans, they laid the foundations for a unique vineyard in the enchanting Vayots Dzor Highlands. This location is near the world’s oldest known wine-producing site, dating back around 6,100 years. The wines that emerge from Trinity are infused with faith, respect for traditions, and the rich legends of Armenian winemakers, which always serve as a guiding force for all their efforts.
In addition to the three core grape varieties – Areni Noir, Voskehat, and Khatun Kharji – that Trinity Canyon Vineyards uses for its exceptional wines, the winery explores bold horizons with various indigenous and international grape varieties. Through this, they undertake daring experiments and sometimes uncover surprising secrets. A striking example of such an experiment is the Jazz Areni Chardonnay, a bold move that has certainly paid off.
