Thaya Ryzlink Rýnský White Dry is a beautiful Czech white wine for the true wine lover. This delightful wine with an alcohol content of 12% comes directly from Morava wine region, subregion Znojemská. It is made from the grape variety Ryzlink Rýnský (better known as Welschriesling). Modern winemaking in Eastern Bloc countries, such as the Czech Republic, only began in the 1990s. Today, the wine industry is in better shape than ever. Many new, independent wine producers have emerged. The availability of modern equipment has also greatly increased since joining the European Union. In short, the Czech Republic is doing exceptionally well in the wine industry, and we can all be proud of that.

The wine has a medium-intense yellow color, giving it a fresh and vibrant appearance. The aroma clearly reveals the classic character of citrus fruits, with subtle hints of lime peel and a delicate note of dried ginger, adding an extra layer of complexity. On the palate, you experience a refreshing, juicy acidity that perfectly balances the flavor, with a soft, light residual sweetness that gives the wine a pleasant smoothness. The finish is medium in length, with a clean and refined conclusion. This wine pairs excellently with light fish dishes, such as Terinka of pike, where the fresh acidity beautifully complements the flavors of the dish. For the best result, serve this wine chilled between 8-10°C.

Jakub Smrčka is responsible for producing many beautiful Czech wines. The Thaya Ryzlink Rýnský White Dry is a great example of this. Although Jakub does not come from a winemaking family, he has been closely involved with wine since childhood. After graduating with a degree in viticulture and enology from the Faculty of Horticulture at Mendel University, he worked as the head of production at one of the largest wineries in the Czech Republic. Jakub loves experimenting with wine and is not afraid to do so. Fortunately, this allows him to create beautiful wines.
