The Feravino Dika Graševina comes from the region of Slavonia, a wine-growing area famous for its fertile clay soils. This region is often referred to as the Chablis of Croatia due to its rich terroir and long history, which dates back to the time of the Pannonian Sea, which extended into Hungary. The soil, which was once part of this ancient sea, contains fossils and shells, contributing to the mineral flavors in the wine. The Feravino Dika Graševina is made from the Graševina grape, an indigenous Croatian variety also known internationally as Welschriesling. Graševina is the most planted grape variety in Croatia and produces wines with a fresh, floral, and mineral taste, well-structured and particularly pleasant. The grapes are hand-picked to ensure the quality of the harvest. After harvest, they are carefully selected and vinified in stainless steel tanks, where the temperature is carefully controlled. This process ensures that the wine retains its fresh and floral character. With an alcohol content of 12%, the Feravino Dika Graševina offers a balanced and approachable tasting experience. Taste the essence of Slavonia and discover why Feravino Dika Graševina is so beloved by wine enthusiasts worldwide!

Feravino Dika Graševina has a bright, straw-yellow color that reflects the fresh, light style of the wine. The taste is refreshing and crisp, with a floral aroma that tantalizes the senses. The wine is well-structured, with a light mineral undertone derived from the clay soils of Slavonia. Feravino Dika Graševina is a versatile wine that pairs well with a wide range of dishes. Thanks to its fresh and light flavor, it is ideal with grilled meats, white meats, veal, pork, and fish dishes, both freshwater and saltwater. This wine is particularly legendary when paired with oysters, a perfect match that beautifully complements the mineral tones of the wine. Additionally, it pairs well with salads, light pastas, and dishes with fresh citrus or herb accents. The ideal serving temperature for this wine is between 8 and 12 degrees Celsius. This ensures that the fresh and floral aromas are fully expressed. While the wine is best enjoyed at a young age to preserve its freshness and liveliness, it can also be aged for a few years for added complexity.

The Feravino winery is located in the wine region of Slavonia, in eastern Croatia, between Hungary, Serbia, and Bosnia, near the village of Feričanci. Interestingly, the name Feravino is a combination of Feričanci and the Croatian word for wine, Vino. The winery was taken over in 1997 by the Kovačević family from the state. Previously, the company was a cooperative, but the family saw great potential and decided to invest. However, at the time of the takeover, the company was in poor condition, and the family had to invest significant time and resources to get it back on track. Over the course of the twenty years following the takeover, nearly a quarter of the 160 hectares of vineyards were completely replanted. In addition to the traditional native grape varieties, the family also introduced international varieties such as Pinot Noir, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon, aiming to produce a wide range of high-quality wines.
