Baia’s Wine Tsitska is an exquisite white wine hails from the Imereti region of Georgia, where a unique blend of Tsitska (20%), Tsolikouri (60%), and Krakhuna (20%) grapes is crafted into a truly remarkable creation. Unlike the warmer Kakheti region, Imereti boasts a cooler climate, which imparts a distinct character to the wine. Fermented using traditional methods, this wine undergoes an intriguing process in churi—clay vessels exposed to the open air, covered with a layer of clay. With an alcohol content of 13.5%, this wine elegantly reveals the nuanced flavors of Georgian grapes, offering a delightful and surprising experience for the palate.

Upon tasting, the wine reveals prominent aromas of apricot and citrus, creating a vibrant, full-bodied dry wine with a lingering, pleasant finish. It is a flavorful and aromatic wine, approachable yet complex.

This wine pairs beautifully with fish, chicken, grilled vegetables, or fresh goat cheese.

For the best experience, serve it at a temperature of 10-12°C.

Baia’s Wine is a testament to the passion and dedication of its creator, Baia Abuladze. Growing up in the picturesque village of Obcha, Georgia, Baia was immersed in a winemaking tradition that had been passed down through generations in her family. Although she pursued her studies in the capital, Tbilisi, Baia’s deep-rooted connection to her heritage called her back to Obcha, where she chose to continue the family legacy of winemaking. With her return, she brought a fresh, innovative approach to the ancient craft, resulting in wines that are both exceptional in quality and rich in Georgian tradition. Today, Baia’s wines have become a must-try, celebrated for their authenticity, craftsmanship, and the personal touch of a winemaker dedicated to preserving the essence of her heritage.
