Discover the unique taste of Winiveria Khikhvi, a high-quality Georgian white wine from the famous wine region of Kakheti. This wine is produced by the renowned winery Winiveria, known for its craftsmanship and the use of authentic, indigenous grape varieties. The Khikhvi grape, a rare and native grape variety from Georgia, forms the base of this special wine. The Winiveria Khikhvi is crafted with care and precision. The wine partially matures in stainless steel tanks to preserve its fresh aromas and is given time to develop into a balanced wine with complexity and finesse. With an alcohol content of 12.5% and a refined, light aromatic style, this wine is highly recommended for lovers of elegant white wines. Perfect for summer dinners, gatherings, or as a gift for true wine enthusiasts!
Winiveria Khikhvi has a bright, light golden color. On the nose, refined aromas of blackcurrant leaf, green apple, and citrus fruits emerge, with a subtle hint of exotic fruit. The taste is fresh, lively, and elegant, with a pleasant acidity that is beautifully balanced with the fruity notes. This wine is lightly aromatic, dry, and refined, with a lingering fresh finish. Thanks to its versatile character, Winiveria Khikhvi is an excellent companion for light and elegant dishes. It pairs perfectly with seafood such as oysters, mussels, and scallops, as well as with refined fish dishes like grilled bream, salmon, or tuna. Poultry, such as chicken breast with a light sauce, also makes a wonderful match. Additionally, it pairs beautifully with pasta dishes with vegetables or creamy sauces, and fresh salads with a citrus vinaigrette. Its refreshing acidity and aromatic notes make this wine also delightful as an aperitif on warm days. For the ultimate tasting experience, it is recommended to serve Winiveria Khikhvi at a temperature of 7 to 10°C, so its lively freshness and refined aromas can shine at their best.
Winiveria is a prominent winery with a deep-rooted history and an unwavering commitment to the traditional art of Georgian winemaking.
