Originating from the heart of the Kakheti wine region in eastern Georgia, this wine reflects the centuries-old craftsmanship for which the country is renowned. This unique creation is made from the local Saperavi grape, cherished for its intense color and bold aromas. The wine is a tribute to the legendary artist Niko Pirosmanishvili and proudly bears his name. Pirosmani combines a rich flavor with soft elegance, resulting in a well-balanced wine that will appeal to both connoisseurs and newcomers alike. Thanks to the traditional cork closure, its authenticity is preserved, while the alcohol content of 12.5% ensures a pleasant drinking experience. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply unwinding with a good glass of wine, this Georgian red is a perfect choice. Let yourself be transported to the hills of Kakheti and taste the soul of Georgia in every sip.

Kakhuri Gvinis Marani Pirosmani is a characterful red wine with a deep ruby color that reveals subtle purple reflections. This impressive hue reflects the intensity of its flavor profile. On the nose, you’ll discover a seductive bouquet of ripe grapes, blackcurrants, and elderberries, which seamlessly transitions into a flavorful experience rich in dark berries and forest fruits. The wine is distinguished by its pronounced grape character, powerful extraction, and well-balanced structure. It is semi-dry, with a fruity opening that makes it highly approachable, while still offering enough complexity to satisfy the connoisseur. Thanks to its versatility, this Pirosmani pairs excellently with a wide range of dishes. It shines alongside grilled meats, hearty stews, a selection of cheeses, or meals featuring mushrooms and roasted vegetables. A highly recommended pairing is with traditional Georgian specialties such as Khachapuri, or a rich lamb dish that enhances the wine’s depth even further. For the best experience of its aromas and flavors, it is suggested to serve the wine at a temperature of approximately 16°C.

The Kevkhishvili family has a long-standing history in winemaking that spans many generations. For years, they produced between 3,000 and 5,000 bottles of wine annually, strictly following family tradition. After Georgia gained independence in 1991, Giorgi Kevkhishvili, founder of Kakhuri Gvinis Marani, began restoring the family vineyards that had been expropriated by the Soviet regime in the 1920s. In 2005, the winery established a modern production facility in Gurjaani, the heart of the Kakheti region, known as the cradle of Georgian wine. Today, Giorgi and his son Nugzar Kevkhishvili jointly manage an impressive 500 hectares of their own vineyards in this wine-rich area. Kakhuri Gvinis Marani masterfully combines innovative technology with the ancient Georgian winemaking tradition, which dates back more than 8,000 years. Driven by dedication, craftsmanship, and family passion, they create wines with a distinctive character and exceptional quality. Their expertise has been recognized worldwide, as evidenced by the numerous awards they have won at international wine competitions.
