Chateau Kefraya Millesima Special Cuvée is a distinguished Lebanese wine, part of the exclusive collection of three unique cuvées from Chateau Kefraya. This exquisite wine comes from Lebanon's renowned West Bekaa Valley subregion. It is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Carignan, Cinsaut, and Mourvèdre, crafted through a meticulous process. The cuvée is made by blending multiple vintages, with each batch aged in oak barrels, imparting a distinctive flavor profile. Produced organically, this wine boasting 13% abv is also vegan-friendly, making it a perfect choice for those seeking both quality and sustainability.

The first aromas of this wine are cedarwood, leather, wild and stewed red fruits, tobacco, rosewood, and incense. In the glass, the wine displays a deep ruby-red color. Upon the first sip, you'll taste spicy notes, complemented by caramel, black truffles, and oriental spices. The finish is long with soft tannins and a refined, elegant closure.
Millesima Special Cuvée pairs beautifully with red meats or a succulent lamb chop. It also complements Roquefort and other blue cheeses perfectly. It is recommended to decant the wine for 30 minutes before serving, at a temperature of 15-17°C.

Château Kefraya is located in the western Bekaa Valley and has been owned by the Bustros family for generations. The estate’s castle was built in 1946 on an artificial hill that was used by the Romans centuries ago to observe troop movements. Despite the Lebanese Civil War, the Bustros family planted their first vines between 1975 and 1990, managing to produce quality wine from their own vineyards. Château Kefraya earned its first international medals for "Les Coteaux de Kefraya" in 1982 and 1983, and since then, has been exporting wines to France and more than 40 other countries worldwide.
