This exquisite amber-hued whisky captivates with its enticing aromas of wild honey and sherry on the nose. On the palate, bold sherry influences seamlessly intertwine with rich molasses and a touch of glucose syrup, creating a luscious depth. Vibrant fruity notes emerge, delicately balanced by a whisper of balsamic vinegar and a subtle hint of spice, leaving a long, smooth aftertaste.

For the best experience, Kujira Ryukyu Whisky should be served at a temperature between 18-22°C, allowing its rich aromas and flavors to fully develop. It pairs beautifully with fine dark chocolate, roasted nuts, or a selection of soft cheeses such as brie or camembert. For a more adventurous pairing, try it alongside a dish of teriyaki-glazed salmon or a rich foie gras terrine.

Founded in 1952, Kumesen Distillery began by producing Awamori, a traditional Okinawan spirit made from Indica rice. In 1989, they innovated by aging Awamori in oak barrels, creating the unique Ryukyu Whisky. The Meiyo 17-Year-Old Single Grain Whisky, made entirely from rice and aged for 17 years in bourbon casks, stands out with its distinct taste, offering a refreshing option for adventurous whisky lovers.
