Chateau Kefraya Myst Rosé 2022
The wine offers fresh and intense aromas of exotic fruit, lychee, peach, blackberries, and raspberries. On the palate, the rosé is harmonious, rich in exotic fruit notes, with a subtle hint of lychee in the long finish. It pairs beautifully with grilled fish, light cheeses, pasta, or pizza. The wine is best served at a temperature of 10-12°C to enhance its fresh and fruity character.
Château Kefraya, situated in the western Bekaa Valley, has been in the hands of the Bustros family for generations. The estate's castle, constructed in 1946 on an artificial hill used by the Romans for observing troop movements, adds historical charm. Despite the Lebanese Civil War, the Bustros family planted their first vines between 1975 and 1990, producing high-quality wine from their own vineyards. Château Kefraya received its first international medals for "Les Coteaux de Kefraya" in 1982 and 1983, and since then, has been exporting wines to France and over 40 other countries.
