Karas Single Vineyard Areni is a great wine with deep roots in the history of Armenia. This red wine comes from vineyards at the foot of the majestic Mount Ararat, in the beautiful Armavir region of Armenia. The rich volcanic soil in this area, which has been known for winemaking for centuries, gives the wine a unique character. Karas Single Vineyard Areni is made from the native Areni grape, which thrives in the Armenian soil. The grapes undergo traditional fermentation and maceration at controlled temperatures in Armenian oak barrels, which brings out their character in a unique way. The wine then ages for about 8 months in Armenian Karass (amphora barrels). This wine combines artisanal winemaking with the rich traditions of the region, and the result is a wine with unique personality and depth. Karas Single Vineyard Areni has an alcohol content of 13%. It is not just a wine, but a piece of history in a bottle. Try it yourself and discover the flavors and secrets of this extraordinary wine.

Karas Single Vineyard Areni is a visually appealing wine with a deep red color and subtle purple hues that immediately captivate the senses. The aroma is complex and lush, with hints of red fruit, plums, and a touch of spiciness. The taste is balanced, offering an intriguing blend of berry flavors and spicy nuances, leading to a long and captivating finish. This wine reveals a broad flavor profile, with ripe cherries, blackberries, and a subtle hint of vanilla to discover. Karas Single Vineyard Areni is a versatile companion for various dishes. It pairs excellently with grilled meat, lamb, and pasta dishes. The lively acidity and fruity notes of the wine beautifully complement tomato-based dishes, while the silky tannins make it ideal for lamb dishes. This wine also forms an excellent match with the famous Armenian dish "khorovats," a delicious barbecue of grilled meat and vegetables. This ensures a perfect balance between fruity notes and structure. Enjoy every sip!

Tierras de Armenia, which opened its doors in 2003, is today a leading and contemporary winery in Armenia. The vineyards are nestled between the majestic Ararat and Aragats mountains, in the historic Armavir region, which has been known since ancient times as a center for agriculture in the Southern Caucasus due to its favorable climatic conditions. The vineyards of this winery cover more than 400 hectares and are located at altitudes ranging from 1,000 to 1,200 meters above sea level. Both indigenous and international grape varieties thrive here, such as Chardonnay, Viognier, Kangun, and Muscat for white wines, and Malbec, Tannat, Syrah, Merlot, and others for red varieties. At Tierras de Armenia, they focus on embracing the latest developments in viticulture. To achieve this ambition, they appointed the talented Argentine winemaker Gabriel Rocha as their head oenologist and the renowned consultant winemaker Michel Rolland as their oenological advisor. Gabriel Rocha shares his vision: "I aim for each wine to reflect the unique characteristics of its origin, soil, climate, and the people involved, so that it stands out from other wines. I see significant potential in Armenia, and we must have the courage to break conventional thinking." In essence, Tierras de Armenia cleverly combines tradition and innovation to produce remarkable Armenian wines.
