De naam Karas Kef Red Reserve Blend **Reflecting the essence of the Armenian word for "feast," this unique red reserve blend promises to transform any occasion into an authentic Armenian celebration.** Crafted from Haghtanak and Malbec grapes grown in the volcanic soils of the Ararat Valley in the Armavir region, this wine captures the unique character of its exceptional terroir in every sip. The production process begins with meticulous hand harvesting, followed by careful grape selection on a sorting table. The wine undergoes temperature-controlled maceration to ensure optimal flavor extraction. Fermentation takes place at 26–28°C over 20 days, while malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks preserves freshness and purity. With an alcohol content of 14.5%, Karas Kef Red Reserve Blend offers a full-bodied, rich tasting experience. In every sip, Karas Kef Red Reserve Blend strikes the perfect balance between traditional Armenian winemaking and modern techniques. This sophisticated wine is the ideal choice to elevate any meal or special occasion. Let yourself be carried away by the vibrant flavor nuances and depth of this wine, transforming your gatherings into memorable and festive moments.

Karas Kef Red Reserve Blend has a deep ruby-red color with striking purple highlights. The wine exudes enticing aromas of fresh red and black fruits, complemented by subtle spicy notes. The well-balanced structure with soft, velvety tannins provides a refined tasting experience. For the best flavor, serve the wine at 16–18°C. To store, keep the wine at a temperature between +5 and +20°C.

In the heart of Armenia, under the majestic presence of Mount Ararat, Karas Wines stands at the forefront of a wine revolution. The name "Karas" refers to the traditional Armenian amphora, an ancient clay vessel that has been used for winemaking for over 6,000 years. This centuries-old connection to Armenia's winemaking traditions drives the vision of Karas Wines: to restore Armenia's role as a wine nation and produce wines that garner admiration worldwide.

Although Armenia has a long history of winemaking, modern techniques were absent from production for many years. This changed with the arrival of Karas Wines. Their turning point came with the appointment of an experienced Argentine winemaker from Mendoza, brought in to modernize their production methods. Additionally, Michel Rolland, a globally respected wine consultant, was engaged to further refine their processes. This combination of craftsmanship and innovation breathed new life into Armenian winemaking.

Since its establishment in 2003, Karas Wines has carefully selected vineyards near Yerevan, at the foot of the majestic Ararat. The vineyards thrive on rich, black volcanic soils and are situated at altitudes ranging from 400 to 1,100 meters, providing ideal conditions for growing premium grapes. Inspired by a passion for quality, Karas Wines creates wines that pay homage to Armenia’s centuries-old winemaking heritage while catering to the tastes of the modern consumer. Thanks to the interplay of sun-drenched vineyards and fertile volcanic soils, the grapes develop a distinctive character that expresses Armenia’s unique terroir in every bottle.
