Zorah Karasi Magnum 1,5L is an extraordinary gift idea for wine connoisseurs. Originating from the heart of Armenia and crafted in the renowned wine region of Vayots Dzor, this wine is a true gem. The fertile soil and favorable climate of this area contribute to the unique characteristics of the grapes used in this exceptional wine. The original creation of Zorah, "Karası," is made from the indigenous Areni grape, grown on ungrafted vines at an altitude of 1,400 meters above sea level. The Armenian Areni grape stands alone as one of the world’s oldest grape varieties, making this wine even more special. Karasi undergoes natural fermentation in raw concrete vats and is then aged for an extended period in traditional amphorae, which explains the name "Karası," literally translated as 'from amphorae.' The wine completes its aging process for 1 year in these traditional amphorae. Before leaving the winery, Karasi undergoes an additional 6 months of bottle aging. Zorah Karasi Magnum 1.5L is known for its balanced character, with an alcohol content of 14%. Order your bottle today and enjoy.

The seductive purple hue that catches the light and dances in the glass promises not only a visual feast but also serves as a preview of the lush explosion of flavors to come. The wine greets the nose with intoxicating notes of smoky mulberry and cassis, creating a fragrant symphony. With each sip, this enchanting wine reveals bright accents of cassis and grapes, reminiscent of the charm of Beaujolais. The excellent acidity adds a juicy texture, making the wine effortlessly drinkable. The ripe tannins give depth to the vibrant fruit, creating a harmonious balance. Zorah Karasi is the perfect companion for hearty meat dishes, such as flavorful lamb, delicious duck, and comforting rabbit stew. Additionally, this wine is an exquisite partner for aged cheeses, with the flavors complementing and enhancing each other. To fully experience the richness of this wine, we recommend serving it at a temperature between 16-18°C. This optimal serving temperature ensures the flavors fully blossom and the aromatic notes unfold beautifully.
